Access to the new AWT member area from 2020:
Goals and Objectives:
- The technical committee deals with current issues concerning the generation, measurement, evaluation and simulation of residual stresses.
- The field of activity includes application problems and basic research equally. All causes of residual stresses that are important in practice are taken into account.
- The work of the technical committee covers all experimental and theoretical methods for the analysis of residual stresses. Established methods and new developments are also the subject of discussion.
